LIMA ATTRACTIONS

One of Lima's newest attractions is the Lima Firefighter's Memorial Museum, located in Lincoln Park, directly north of fire station #6.

It is to honor fallen Lima firefighters, and to provide a look into the past.

A beautiful brick structure contains equipment
used in the past, and memorabillia to be viewed
as both an educational and sombering experience.

The museum is located in Lincoln Park, in Lima's Mid-East
section, just east of the Railroad Museum.

The interior of the museum contains interesting facts
pertaining to Lima fires, transportation and firefighting equipment
and other items.

On the facade above the doors are decorative stone tablets
that were taken from the central fire station, on the corner of
East High Street, and North Central Avenue.  These stones
identified what equipment was located in each garage.                                  MEMORIAL MUSEUM INTERIOR
